MedicareCompareUSA Named Diamond Sponsor of
National Medicare Advantage Summit April 25-28

(BELLINGHAM, Wash. – March 21, 2023) — MedicareCompareUSA (MCUSA) announced today that it will serve as a Diamond Sponsor of the 4th National Medicare Advantage Summit to be held virtually April 25-28. MCUSA supports the nation’s largest network of hospitals, health systems and physicians by helping patients compare and enroll in Medicare insurance.

More than 100 of the healthcare industry’s best-known and most widely-respected thought leaders will serve as faculty for the MA Summit and will address the most pressing issues facing Medicare Advantage plans today, including recent changes enacted by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid.

“The marketplace is changing at lightning speed and with more than 10,000 Americans entering Medicare every day new challenges will continue to emerge relative to what seniors are looking for in their coverage and how the industry can respond in a compliant and prudent way,” said MCUSA CEO Kerri Lenderman. “Our mission is first and foremost serving providers’ needs, which is why we’re so honored to play an important role in this timely summit that we hope will lead to the system working better for everyone.”

In its sponsorship capacity, MCUSA will serve as host for the April 28 Plenary Session entitled “CMS intent with TPMO rules. Where to be careful and opportunities?” Speakers for that session will be Nicole J. Aiken-Shaban, JD, partner at Reed Smith in Philadelphia and Tyler Rees, chief executive officer at Innovative Financial Group in Wilmington, North Carolina.

“Large national retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, CVS and Costco aggressively entering the Medicare market has created a direct and imminent financial threat to established and respected local healthcare providers,” said Lenderman. “The aggressive marketing tactics of these well-known retailers has inflated an already fragmented environment and that makes this plenary presentation a timely, can’t miss session we are encouraging everyone to attend.”

MCUSA will also host two concurrent sessions. On April 25, David Axene, MS, president and managing partner of Axene Health Partners and Steve Davis, MS, assistant vice president for managed care & payer strategy at Ardent Health Services will discuss “Navigating a Medicare Advantage Termination and Contracting Considerations.” On April 27, “Online Medicare Sales is Growing. How Does This Impact Health Care Providers?” will be addressed by Benjamin Brooks, chief technology and operations officer of MedicareOnDemand and by Chuck Chaput, chief operations and compliance officer at MedicareCompareUSA and MCUSA Consulting.

For more than a decade, MCUSA has been on the forefront of innovation in protecting continuity of care for seniors while serving as a valuable ally to hospitals, health systems and large physician groups. Summit attendees can visit the MCUSA virtual exhibit booth to learn more about the company including a timeline on its history of innovation, case studies of MCUSA helping providers protect and grow their Medicare patient base, a 2022 year in review and information on MCUSA’s full portfolio of products and services, including MedicareOnDemand, an industry-leading online platform that simplifies the consumers’ Medicare plan shopping experience.
