The additions of Caroline Mariñez and Edward Trejo position MedicareCompareUSA for growth of brokerage operations and statewide expansion of our California Health Care clients.
Caroline Mariñez
Director of Physician and Agency Partnerships, MedicareCompareUSA
Caroline joins MedicareCompareUSA with a demonstrated history of 17 years working in the insurance industry with a focus on Medicare. She has a vast background in the business, working at HealthNet of the Northeast, Aetna, Blue Shield of California, and held the role of VP of Sales for the largest FMO in the Northeast.
Caroline’s hands-on experience with creating distribution channels, recruiting, negotiation of contracts, and creating solutions for physicians to increase membership will be key in our goals. Her relationships span from national and regional insurers, FMOs, Medicare agents nationally, and physician groups. Caroline is well positioned to bridge relationships throughout the state and is very passionate about what is important to providers and beneficiaries.
Caroline received a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Albertus Magnus College.
Edward Trejo
Head of Broker Partnerships & Development, MedicareCompareUSA
In his role as Head of Broker Partnerships & Development, Edward is responsible for the strategic direction, growth, and performance of MedicareCompareUSA Distribution in the California market.
As a seasoned professional with more than 20 years of Medicare health care experience, Edward is known for developing high performing teams, driving enrollment growth, and maximizing operational excellence. He most recently served as the Senior Sales Director at Blue Shield of California, where he led a team of sales professionals and successfully managed the company’s growth and development pipeline.
Edward inherently understands that the customer is the single most valuable asset an organization can have and is driven by the unrelenting pursuit of customer-driven focus, ideals, and customer experience.
